Founded in 1991, China Association for Medical Devices Industry (CAMDI) is one of the first-class independent corporations registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of People’ s Republic of China. It is an industrial and nonprofit society which consists of companies and individuals engaged on manufacturing, distributing, R&D, testing and education training of medical devices on the basis of voluntary principle. It is superintended by the State-own Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, managed by the China Industrial Economy Federation, and also guided by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Development and Reform Commission and the State Food & Drug Administration in terms of its operation.
There are 15 branches and professional committees supporting over 4, 000 membership companies of CAMDI.
The mission of CAMDI is that complying with state laws and regulations CAMDI represents common benefits of its members, safeguards the legal rights of members, and promotes constantly the safety and effectiveness of medical devices as well as the development of Chinese medical device industry.
Profile about Chairman Jiang Feng

Dr. Jiang Feng graduated from The Fourth Military Medical University and got his Bachelor degree in 1985, Master degree in 1992, and Doctor Degree in 1995 subsequently all in Clinical Medicine. Presently he is the Chairman of China Association for Medical Devices; at the meanwhile he is the General Manager of China National Medical Equipment Industry Corp. which is one of the largest sales enterprises in the field of medical equipment in China. Dr. Jiang is also the Deputy Director both of China Instruments Manufacturers Association and Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering. |
Dr. Jiang was ever a lecturer and attending doctor of the affiliated hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University. He had made underlying researches on thoracic tumor, especially tumor mark and radioactive immune guiding therapy. His papers were always published on Chinese medical magazines and presented at National and International conferences. With deep-seated medical foundation, deep understanding of the current situation and the trend of development in the medical device market, Dr. Jiang knows marketing and industrial development very well with the industrial perspective.
